Graham Covington has been at the forefront of innovation in nonprofit technology for over twenty-five years. Back in September 2000 Graham founded Engaging Networks which today serves nonprofits around the world, processing over $550 million USD in donations (2025), sending over 5 billion marketing emails (2025), and offering customers a comprehensive suite of engagement tools.

Accelerating improvement in AI technology sparked an idea in Graham’s very restless brain. Can AI deliver a sophisticated marketing platform for small and mid-size nonprofits, paired with unimaginable ease of use? He assembled a team of very smart people to find the answer: Escalator.
